Video: iPod Nano Clone 4G

Someone put a Nano 4G clone on video at long last. I’m a little bit disappointed with the hardware. It’s not as thin as the original iPod Nano 4G and they didn’t quite get the screen size right. The UI is no different from previous Nano-gen clones. Oh, well might as well get this Nano 4G Clone with a camera.

Aigo Launches McLaren Mercedes Car PMP

Aigo is finally making good use of their F1 racing sponsorship. On October 18 they launched the Aigo Vodafone McLaren Mercedes MP5 player or the MP5-MK3510, which is a 4.3-inch 480 × 272 PMP with support of up to 720P (1280 x 720) HD resolution. It plays RM, RMVB, AVI, FLV, DAT, MPG, MPEG and MP3, WMA, FLAC, APE with BBE and SRS. It has an e-Book reader, photo viewer and FM. It plays 4 hours of video and 10 hours of audio. No pricing yet.

HACHA PF02 MP3 Player for $15!!!

At first we thought this was a typographical error. An MP3 player for only 99 yuan (about $14.4 USD)? But no mistake, the Hacha PF02 is really only 99 yuan and for the price of a fast food meal you get a 2GB player with MP3, WMA, OGG file support with SRS, USB 2.0 and a nice design that you won’t be ashamed of. No screen though but battery is okay with 14 hours of music. Also available are bigger capacity versions maxing out at 8GB.

I wonder why they can’t squeeze in an FM tuner. People would love cheap radios.

NIHO NEO TV-11 CMMB-Enabled PMP

“Tough yet gentle, simple yet detailed,” is how the PR writers of Niho describe the NEO TV-11. I have to admit, NEO TV-11 wears a serious industrial design. As a 2.4-inch PMP, it’s the smallest CMMB-enabled PMP we’ve seen so far. Besides, portability, the TV-11 plays AVI, RM, RMVB, MP3, WMA, WAV, APE, FLAC and games. It has an FM tuner, voice recording, clock and calendar. I like that Niho didn’t cut back on the speakers - the TV-11 has two. The antenna naturally folds on top and overall design pretty noteworthy. No pricing yet but put this up on eBay or an online retail store with a DMB or DVB-H antenna and this baby will sell.

HACHA PC90 4-Inch PMP

According to MP4Nation, Hacha’s new PC90 MP4 player might actually sell, hopefully soon. The PC90 has an interesting screen dimension. At 4 inches flat, it’s smaller than the 4.3-inch monsters that we’re familiar with here.

According to Hacha, shaving .3 inches from the screen will make carrying a PMP a better experience and will in no way affect viewing pleasure. The Hacha PC90 uses a rockchip and a separate audio chip. This is nice. Hopefully, price will be just as nice.

Newsmy’s ManMan A2 Could Rock Your World

Nothing special here but I’m liking the rendered photo a lot. It’s a 3-inch player with touch-sensitive keys below the screen with support for RM, RMVB, FLV, MPG, DAT, AVI, MP4, WMV, 3GP, MP3, WMA, WAV, AAC, OGG, APE, FLAC and Microsoft PlayFX. No pricing yet for the 4GB and 8GB, in which the ManMan A2 comes with but the TV out, FM tuner features on top of the media playback tells me it’s not going to break the bank any worse than it already is.

Compare this product with other Newman/ Newsmy products to get an idea of the probable pricing.

Bmorn BM-887 PMP Leaked

Bmorn has another PMP that we’re keen on seeing out in retail condition. It features sliding touch control, which is pretty vague considering the obvious touch sensitive buttons below the 3-inch widescreen. It’s bound to support a lot of video files including RM, RMVB, AVI and APE, FLAC Lossless audio. No word on pricing but I’m liking the external design a lot. We may be seeing the BM-887 soon with a rpice tag of $50 or thereabouts.

Teclast M33 With MVA Screen Live Photo

MP4nation just received the hot new M33 PMP from Teclast. What’s special about the M33 is the MVA screen, which gives users wider viewing angles than ordinary LCDs. UI control comes from the resistive touchscreen. No pricing yet for the M33 but we’re sure it’s going to be available in time for Christmas shopping.
