It’s not every day that we come across a PMP maker that’s so far behind the times as Akai. With its Japanese-sounding name, one would think a 1.3 megapixel camera at the back of its latest PMP, especially one so glaringly old-fashioned, not to mention huge, wouldn’t be something it would be proud of. On the contrary, Akai is pretty hyped up over the K11, which, besides having a decent 3-inch 400 x 240-ixel screen and AVI, RM, RMVB support, has a 1.3 MP at the back. The camera is a huge one, reminding us that tech from three years ago may come back to haunt us via China.
